About StreetScooter

StreetScooter is a German maker of electric delivery vans. StreetScooter GmbH was established in 2010 from research at RWTH Aachen University. Achim Kampker was the project manager and later the chief executive.1

The company developed the Work van with input from about 100 delivery professionals. Deutsche Post acquired StreetScooter as a subsidiary in December 2014.1

Odin Automotive later acquired the StreetScooter business and renamed it B-ON. Deutsche Post kept a 10 percent stake after the sale.2
