Changan OBD-II support

Pelican knows 12 Changan models. The OBDb has no parameter data for them yet.

Every Changan that supports OBD-II also reports the standard parameters, such as speed and engine data.

About Changan

Changan is a Chinese state-owned car maker. The group traces its origins to 1862, when it began as the Shanghai Bureau of Marine Artillery. It entered the car market in 1984 through a partnership with Suzuki.1

Changan sells cars under five main brands. These are Changan, Changan Nevo, Deepal, Avatr and Changan LCV. Avatr is a premium electric brand that Changan builds in partnership with Huawei and CATL.23

Changan formed the joint venture Changan Ford in 2001. In July 2025, the company restructured as an independent state-owned enterprise under the central government. The new company was established in Chongqing.14

Changan products reach 129 countries and regions.2
