SsangYong is a South Korean car maker that now trades as KG Mobility. SsangYong Motor changed its name to KG Mobility on March 22, 2023. The KG Group decided on the new name.12
The company has had several owners. Mahindra & Mahindra of India received 70 percent of the shares of SsangYong in February 2011. The South Korean KG Group acquired a 61.86 percent stake in August 2022.23
