HUMMER OBD-II support

Pelican knows 6 HUMMER models. The OBDb has no parameter data for them yet.

Every HUMMER that supports OBD-II also reports the standard parameters, such as speed and engine data.

About HUMMER

HUMMER began when AM General introduced the civilian Hummer in 1992. It was based on the military Humvee. Arnold Schwarzenegger bought the first two Hummer H1 vehicles sold.12

General Motors acquired the brand name in December 1999. It added the H2 in 2002 and the H3 in 2005. Production ceased in 2010 after a failed sale to the Chinese company Sichuan Tengzhong.123

GM revived the name as an electric line under the GMC brand. The GMC Hummer EV began with the 2022 model year. It is an electric pickup truck and an SUV, and it is not an independent brand.24

In October 2020, GM announced a 2.2 billion dollar investment in the Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant for the Hummer EV. Production began in November 2021.25
